Dastak Society organized a second round of workshops for the Punjab Police on responding to sex trafficking cases under the Prevention of Trafficking in Persons Act (PTPA), 2018 in Lahore, following an initial round held in August 2025. Together, these workshops mark the first time police officers have received such in-depth training on the issue, including detailed discussions on implementing the law with a strong focus on the rights and protection of women and girls.

The workshop was attended by 76 police officers from six divisions of Lahore. Ranks of police officer included Station House Officer, Superintendent of Police and Investigation Officer. In addition, 6 public prosecutors also attended the workshops.

Advocates Asad Jamal and Sabahat Riaz led the workshop over the course of two days.
